FAQ LazyJack®

What are Lazy Jack products made of?

All products are made of 'Dacron' sailcloth. Great stuff, because this material will probably outlast a turtle and is easy to clean.

Is Lazy Jack waterproof?

Waterproof is a big word, because Lazy Jack is not watertight. But the 'Dacron' sailcloth is weatherproof. It can stand rain and wind. After all we talk sailcloth here.

How can I clean Lazy Jack?

Take some mild soap, water and a soft bristle. Brush and remove the dirt. Rinse with fresh water and keep rinsing until all soap has been removed. For oil or tar stains you can use some lighter fluid. For mildew you can use water with some of household bleach (3 to 5% will do). Never use pure bleach! In case of extreme dirt please don't clean it yourself. Just bring Lazy Jack to a proper sail & canvas specialist and have it cleaned.

Does the Lazy Jack Beanbag comes pre-filled with EPS beads?

EPS beads consist mainly of air. And that's exactly what make these tiny beads so comfortable, but also very expensive to send by post or courier. EPS beads weight practically nothing, but take up a lot of space. So we do encourage you to buy an unfilled Lazy Jack and fill it back home. If you are having trouble finding EPS beads, please contact us and we will try to point you in the right direction.

How do I refill my Lazy Jack Beanbag?

The soft, cushiony feel of Lazy Jack  is possible thanks to the EPS beads. After time these beads get tired of being bounced on, sat on, and squished and squashed, they compress and lose volume. If your Lazy Jack does not sit comfortably any longer, it's time to re-energize it with a refill.
